This 5-day course will provide comprehensive coverage of canine and feline arrhythmias, from electrophysiological mechanisms to advanced ECG interpretation and treatment. It includes didactic lectures, interactive sessions and more than 5 hours of hands-on ECG interpretation with additional time for questions and individual attention.
The main topics covered:
• Correlation between cardiac physiology and arrhythmias
• Advanced interpretation of the 12-lead ECG and the 24-hour Holter
• The diagnosis and management of supraventricular and ventricular tachyarrhythmias
• The diagnosis and management of bradyarrhythmias, including pacemaker therapy
This course is designed for cardiology residents, veterinary cardiologists, and non-specialists with a strong interest in cardiology and some experience in ECG interpretation.
