Dr. Jérôme Benoit is a specialist in Veterinary Radiation
Oncology and the current Clinical Director of Oncovet.
Dr Benoit graduated from the Lyon Veterinary School (2005) and is a former
intern of the Maisons-Alfort Veterinary School (2007). After 2 years of
residency at the North Carolina State University, USA, Dr. Benoit graduated as
a specialist from the American College (ACVR - Radiation Oncology) in 2010. He
first joined a private clinic in the UK from 2009 to 2014, before joining
Oncovet, France in November 2014. Dr. Benoit has since been recognized as an
EBVS® European Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and Radiation
Oncology and is currently working alongside ECVDI and ECVIM and EBVS to
have this specialty fully recognised in Europe. Dr Benoit has a particular
interest in the treatment of tumours of the nervous system, tumours of the
urinary tract and neuroendocrine neoplasms.
Dr. Benoit is President of the European Society of Veterinary Oncology
(ESVONC). He is also a member of various radiation oncology (ECVDI) and
radiation protection (ICRP) committees, and the author of numerous scientific
publications and speaker at national and international level.
