Eva Rioja Garcia

Eva graduated from the University Complutense of Madrid, Spain in 2000 and in 2004 she obtained a PhD from the same University. She completed a residency of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ACVAA) at the University of Guelph, Canada, where she also completed a Doctor in Veterinary Science (DVSc) degree and in 2009 she obtained Diplomate ACVAA status. In 2020 she also became Diplomate ECVAA. Eva has worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Pretoria, South Africa and at the University of Liverpool, UK. From 2017 she has worked in different Small Animal Referral Hospitals in UK. Currently, Eva is Clinical Director of Anaesthesia and Analgesia and Clinical Lead at Optivet Referrals, UK.
