Dorothee Bienzle

Dorothee Bienzle obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Guelph, worked in general veterinary practice for several years, and then attained a PhD in human immunology from McMaster University. Dorothee was a faculty member at the University of Georgia (USA) for a couple of years before joining the University of Guelph as a Clinical Pathologist. Her area of specialization is disease of the hematolymphatic system. Dorothee has been an active researcher and teacher for 20 years, and has published >150 peer-reviewed manuscripts, numerous book chapters, and is a frequent conference speaker. Dorothee has lead several committees and then was the President of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists.
