Romain Pariaut has been practicing veterinary cardiology since 2002. He received his DVM from the National School of Veterinary Medicine (ENVL) in Lyon, France. He stayed in Lyon as a small animal rotating Intern, and was then a Clinical Instructor in Emergency and Critical Care. He completed a residency in Veterinary Cardiology at Cornell University in 2005. Prior to joining the faculty at Cornell University, Dr. Pariaut was an Associate Professor and Service Chief of Cardiology at Louisiana State University. His emphasis is on interventional cardiology and arrhythmia management. Dr. Pariaut is also an Associate Editor of the Journal of Veterinary Cardiology. He is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) and the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM-CA).
