COURSE DIRECTOR:
Dr. Luca Ferasin, DVM, PhD, CertVC. PGCert(HE), Dipl. ECVIM-CA (Cardiology), FRCVS

This Winter Camp on echocardiography offers the opportunity to refresh many cardiology concepts and develop the practical skills necessary for the use of transthoracic echocardiography in the diagnostic investigation of cardiovascular diseases in small animals.

During this camp, delegates will have the opportunity to gain their confidence with echocardiographic assessment and adapt learning to individual experience and working circumstances.
The course includes a critical evaluation of the role of echocardiography in clinical practice and an in-depth knowledge of echocardiographic instrumentation, physics of ultrasounds and Doppler, haemodynamics, cardiovascular anatomy, physiology and cardiac functional parameters.
The course has a high practical content and there is plenty of opportunity to practise the taught techniques. Delegates will also learn basic guidelines for correct reporting of echocardiographic examinations.

But that’s not all!

Our programme also offers an outdoor team building experience that will take you to discover the beauty of Milan!
Don’t miss the opportunity to combine scientific education and fun in the beautiful setting of Milan.

We look forward to seeing you at the Winter Camp for an unforgettable experience!
