Dr. Jennifer Willcox is an associate professor of clinical medical
oncology at the University of California, Davis. She received her DVM
from Ohio State University in 2008, followed by a private practice small animal
rotating internship. She then pursued an
oncology specialty internship and then a bone marrow transplant fellowship at
North Carolina State University.
Subsequently, she completed a medical oncology residency at NC State and
became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine
(oncology) in 2014. Her research
interests include cancer imaging techniques such as positron emission
tomography and clinical trials geared toward novel therapeutic/drug
development. Outside of work she enjoys
running and hiking with her husband and two dogs.
