A high-level Masterclass dealing with diseases of the adrenal glands from different perspectives.
To tackle endocrine diseases, which are increasingly common in dogs and cats, teamwork is essential.
This is why Internist, Surgeon and Interventionalist, internationally known experts, will explore the topic from their own point of view, to provide you with a comprehensive approach to patient management.

Nick qualified from Cambridge Vet School and after two years in general practice returned to Cambridge as the PetSaver’s resident in Soft Tissue Surgery and Oncology. He spent two years in soft tissue referral practice in the UK before completing a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the Animal Cancer Center at Colorado State University. He then spent 9 years as Surgical Oncology Faculty at the University of Florida in the Oncology department, becoming Head of Oncology in 2011. Nick moved back to the UK in 2014 and was appointed Professor of Surgical Oncology at the University of Surrey School of Veterinary Medicine and co-founded what is now AURA Veterinary, also in Guildford, Surrey. He is a Diplomate of the European and American Colleges of Veterinary Surgeons, a Past-President of the Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncology, an ACVS Founding Fellow of Surgical Oncology, and is the only surgeon working in the UK to have completed a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology. Nick is Clinical Director of AURA Veterinary, a world-renowned centre for excellence in oncology, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and interventional radiology, treating patients from across the UK and Europe.

Stefano Cortellini si è laureato presso l’Università di Perugia nel 2006. Dopo aver lavorato per due anni in due centri specialistici a Roma, Stefano si trasferisce nel Regno Unito, dove completa il tirocinio presso la Animal Health Trust (Newmarket). Dopo un anno di servizi di pronto soccorso a Brighton, completa un programma di residency in Emergency and Critical Care presso il Royal Veterinary College e ottiene l’American Diploma in Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC) nel 2014. Attualmente lavora presso l’RVC come lecturer in Emergenza e Terapia Intensiva.

Sara Galac

Sara Galac graduated from the Veterinary Faculty in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She defended her first PhD thesis called “Progesterone receptor antagonist during pregnancy and luteal phase” at the University in Ljubljana in 2001 and her second PhD entitled “Recent developments of Cushing`s syndrome in dogs” at Utrecht University in 2010. Nowadays, she is a staff member at the Department of Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht University, and holds a position of assistant professor in Internal medicine. Her main interest is Endocrinology. She is involved in clinical work, teaching, and research. She leads the Oncology research group OnGo at the dept. of Clinical Sciences. Her research is greatly supported by national and international grants.
